DAC MARLINS
This is the inaugural year that
the DAC Marlins scholarship is being offered. Through the
fantastic support of DAC friends and families, the club is able to
offer this new training scholarship. The Marlins wish to
promote swimming in the local community and to help a swimmer reach
their greatest potential.
Scholarship Will
Include:

Swim coaching for one year, renewable upon board
approval.
Who Is Eligible:
Applicants should be:
·
Aged 12 and over
·
Highly committed and motivated to swim at a competitive level
They should have displayed:
·
A high standard of swimming
·
Potential for further development as a high performance competitive
swimmer
Period of the
Scholarship:
The scholarship is offered for a one year period, subject to an
ongoing review and is
needs-based. Applications close November 30, 2009. A
decision may be made earlier
if
a suitable applicant is not found. Current DAC Marlin swimmers
are not eligible to
apply. The application package and the terms and conditions of
the scholarship are
1010. All applications or inquiries are strictly
confidential.
High School or Recreational Swim Coaches are encouraged to share
information on this generous opportunity with swimmers who might
benefit from year round swimming with DAC.
