- Stands up to the element of time
All of our coaches, as members of the American
Swim Coaches Association, have access to the most comprehensive
training and certification program for youth coaches of any sport
in the United States. They provide assurances that the time
children spend in swimming will be quality time. The Danville
Aquatic Club, a non profit club, is run by its elected Board of
Directors which meets each month. All members are welcome at each
meeting and encouraged to be involved in team activities and
fundraisers.
We are extremely excited to formally announce
that starting in September 2009, Danville Aquatic
Club and Bluegrass Swim Team will be competing together as
one team. Both teams will now operate under the
name of Bluegrass Marlins, a name which incorporates both
teams’ identities. Both teams will keep their
separate day-to-day functioning and will operate independently
of one another. The team in Danville will be called
Danville Aquatic Club and the team in Versailles will be called
Versailles Aquatic Club to differentiate locations. However,
all swimmers will be registered under the code
BST.
